Cool Britannia - Marks and Spencer Launches in Aus!

London is one of my favourite cities I've visited thus far - the most gorgeous buildings everywhere you look, so many quirky corners, quaint bars and pubs galore and of course - the shopping! Having spent a fair amount of Pounds on Oxford Circus on my last London visit, I have definitely come to appreciate the beauty in London style. Cosmopolitian yet classic, the London girl is truly and effortlessly cool.

Given my appreciation of UK fashion, I was thrilled to hear that one of my favourite British shopping experiences would no longer be so far away, thanks to the Australian online launch of Marks and Spencer. This excitment was doubled thanks to my invite to their accompanying launch party at a classic Woollarah mansion on a lovely warm Thursday in Sydney.

Greeted by flowing Moët (yes please!), and plenty of delicious canapes, it was lovely catching up with some fellow bloggers by the pool and deciding which London memory to have engraved in a beautiful sliver teapot to take home as a momento.

After being introduced to the online store by Nadia Fairfax, Kate Waterhouse and Bec Judd (and given a sneak peek of their upcoming Alexa Chung collab eep!), we were given free range to explore the house and all the amazing pieces set up to introduce us to the brand. I was especially drawn to their chic, yet affordable eveningwear (like this LBD here) and classic winter coats (loving this navy coat here).

Overall it was a fabulous evening, and I am super excited to add the brand new online store to my bookmarks bar!
